Coach Deion Sanders and Thee Jackson State Tigers currently sit at the top of the SWAC and, in some respects, the Black College Football World. For decades, when it came to Black College Football, that title belonged to Grambling State University. From the late great Coach Eddie Robinson to the legendary Quarterback then Head Coach Doug Williams, for the longest time Grambling has been the leaders of the conference. Recently Grambling State has been struggling, but the Grambling faithful hope the hiring of Hue Jackson, along with an influx of talent will place them right back in the SWAC championship conversation.
