Registration is now open for HBCU students to participate in the Madden NFL 25 Tournament, a unique opportunity that combines gaming, mentorship, and career development. Organized by the National Football League (NFL) in collaboration with EA SPORTS, the tournament celebrates Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) while fostering talent in the sports and gaming industries.
A Platform for HBCU Students
Now in its fifth year, the Madden NFL x HBCU Tournament is a testament to the NFL and EA SPORTS’ dedication to supporting HBCU students. The initiative offers students a chance to compete in a high-stakes Madden NFL 25 competition, with the top four finalists earning a trip to Orlando, Florida, during the 2025 Pro Bowl Games Week.

Exciting Opportunities for Finalists
The tournament offers more than just competition. The four finalists will:
• Travel to Orlando during the Madden Championship Series (MCS) Playoffs Week from January 28 to February 1, 2025.
• Gain hands-on experience with EA SPORTS production teams, learning about the behind-the-scenes processes of game development and event management.
• Participate in a shadowing opportunity at a professional Madden NFL Championship Series broadcast.
• Network with EA SPORTS leadership and explore career opportunities in gaming and entertainment.

• Last Chance Qualifier: January 12, 2025
• Elimination Rounds: January 18-19, 2025
