BALLY SPORTS SOUTHEAST TO TELEVISE 79 ATLANTA HAWKS GAMES FOR 2022-23 NBA SEASON

ATLANTA – Bally Sports Southeast will televise 79 Atlanta Hawks regular season games for the 2022-23 NBA season. The telecasts will be anchored by the network’s flagship pre- and postgame show, Hawks LIVE.

The network’s first telecast of the regular season will be on Wednesday, Oct. 19, with the Hawks playing at home against the Houston Rockets. Coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET with a special one-hour edition of the Hawks LIVE pregame show. The final game of the regular season schedule will be Sunday, April 9, with coverage of the Hawks at the Boston Celtics starting at 12:30 p.m. ET.

In addition to the 79 regular season games on Bally Sports Southeast, two preseason games will also air on Bally Sports Southeast. The network will televise the team’s final two preseason games, including Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. ET versus the Cleveland Cavaliers and a neutral site game between the Hawks and New Orleans Pelicans in Birmingham, Ala. on Friday, Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. ET.

The Bally Sports broadcast team for Hawks games will remain the same in 2022-23. Bob Rathbun will enter his 27th season as play-by-play announcer and 14th season with analyst Dominique Wilkins. Joining them will be Lauren Jbara, who enters her second season as reporter. Hawks LIVE will be hosted by Treavor Scales and will feature analyst Brian Oliver for a second consecutive year.

Vince Carter will return for a select number of games as an additional analyst alongside Rathbun and Wilkins. Carter has joined the network as an additional analyst in each of the last two seasons.

Hawks games on Bally Sports Southeast will be widely available throughout Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee through cable, satellite and over-the-top providers, including AT&T U-verse, DIRECTV, DIRECTV STREAM, Spectrum and Xfinity. Game telecasts can also be streamed live on BallySports.com, the Bally Sports app and the all-new Bally Sports+, a new streaming platform that will offer live Hawks games on a direct-to-consumer basis within the Hawks’ local territory on a monthly or annual subscription basis beginning September 26.
