The Atlanta Dream played their first home game of the season to a sold-out crowd in State Farm Arena. At one point during the game the Dream were down by as many as 16 points, but they fought back as they have in their first two games to take a 1-point lead with very little time remaining. BUT this time they were not victorious as the reigning WNBA Champs showed the fans at State Farm exactly why they are the champions, closing out with a 1 point victory in the waning seconds of the the 4th Quarter. Coach Karl Smesko talked about the resilience of his team and the key players involved in the comeback.
