The Minnesota Lynx defeated the Dallas Wings 85-77 on Sunday behind strong performances from Natasha Howard and Olivia Miles.
Howard finished with 21 points, 14 rebounds, three steals and one block, giving Minnesota a major presence inside. Miles matched her with 21 points while adding eight assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block.
Kayla McBride added 17 points and knocked down four three-pointers, while Courtney Williams contributed 12 points, five rebounds and four assists. Nia Coffey also gave the Lynx a solid all-around effort with nine points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Dallas was led by Paige Bueckers, who scored 25 points with four assists, three rebounds and one steal. Azzi Fudd added 21 points and four steals, while Maddy Siegrist scored 12 points off the bench. Jessica Shepard grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds to go with eight points and three assists.
The Wings stayed competitive behind Bueckers and Fudd, but Minnesota’s balanced scoring and strong rebounding from Howard helped the Lynx close out the road victory.
