The Dallas Wings defeated the New York Liberty 88-77 behind a standout all-around performance from Jessica Shepard.
Shepard finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, powering Dallas on both ends. Paige Bueckers added 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Azzi Fudd scored 12 points. Awak Kuier also made a major impact with 10 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks.
New York was led by Breanna Stewart, who scored 29 points with nine rebounds and four assists. Jonquel Jones added 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Sabrina Ionescu finished with 14 points and five assists.
Dallas used balanced scoring, strong rebounding and Shepard’s playmaking to pull away for the 11-point road win.
