The Las Vegas Aces survived a tight battle with the Indiana Fever, earning an 86-84 overtime victory behind big performances from A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young.
Wilson led Las Vegas with 26 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal. She shot 10-for-25 from the field and made all six of her free-throw attempts.
Young delivered 22 points, nine assists and four rebounds, while NaLyssa Smith added 14 points and nine reboundson 7-for-11 shooting.
Chelsea Gray contributed 11 points, seven assists and four steals, knocking down three of her five attempts from beyond the arc. Jewell Loyd added nine points, five rebounds and two steals off the bench.
Indiana was led by Kelsey Mitchell, who scored a game-high 28 points on 10-for-18 shooting. Mitchell also recorded four assists and two steals.
Aliyah Boston produced a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds, while adding three steals and two blocks. Caitlin Clark finished with 20 points, eight assists and three rebounds.
Makayla Timpson grabbed 11 rebounds and added four points, while Monique Billings contributed eight points, four rebounds and two steals off the bench.
The Fever pushed the Aces beyond regulation behind the scoring of Mitchell, Boston and Clark, but Las Vegas had enough production from its stars to survive.
Wilson’s double-double and Young’s combination of scoring and playmaking helped the Aces finish off the 86-84 overtime victory.
