The win marked the 50th career victory for Smesko as a head coach and completed Atlanta’s season sweep of Toronto. The Dream are now 4-0 all-time against the expansion Tempo and 2-0 at home.
Atlanta’s offense delivered one of its most balanced performances of the season, with six players scoring in double figures for the fourth time this year. Jordin Canada, Rhyne Howard and Angel Reese each scored 20+ points, while Allisha Gray, Naz Hillmon and Brionna Jones also reached double figures.
The Dream connected on 14 three-pointers, tying their season high, as their starting five of Canada, Gray, Howard, Hillmon and Reese improved to 20-8 this season.
Angel Reese also made franchise history, recording her 22nd double-double of the season to become the Atlanta Dream’s all-time single-season leader in double-doubles.
