Dak Prescott Leads Dallas Past Philadelphia as Eagles Drop Fifth Straight

The Dallas Cowboys (3-4) snapped a two-game losing streak with a 38-21 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles (2-5) at Lincoln Financial Field on October 26, 2026, as Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes and Javonte Williams rushed for a career-high 155 yards, handing Philadelphia its fifth consecutive defeat.

Dallas entered Monday night averaging just 76 rushing yards per game, ranking 30th in the NFL. Apparently, all the Cowboys needed was Philadelphia’s defense. Javonte Williams erupted for a career-high 155 yards, the most by a Dallas running back since 2016, as the Cowboys piled up 204 rushing yards against their division rivals. Dak Prescott was just as effective through the air, throwing three touchdowns, including two to CeeDee Lamb and a spectacular 21-yard connection with George Pickens. Trailing 21-20 in the third quarter, Prescott found Lamb for a 16-yard touchdown before running in the two-point conversion himself. Brandon Aubrey added his third field goal, and Williams finished the rout with a two-yard touchdown run. Prescott threw for 212 yards without a turnover, surpassing Tony Romo’s franchise record with his 80th career multi-touchdown passing game. Dallas finally looked like a complete offense.

Philadelphia’s fifth consecutive defeat was especially frustrating because its offense actually showed signs of life. With Jalen Hurts sidelined by blood clots, Tanner McKee threw for 211 yards and a touchdown, engineering a 17-play, 84-yard drive that ended with rookie Makai Lemon giving the Eagles a brief third-quarter lead. Saquon Barkley rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown but remained limited by hamstring and back problems, while Dameon Pierce added another rushing score. The defense, however, completely collapsed. Philadelphia failed to record a sack or quarterback hit, surrendered 416 total yards and allowed Dallas to score 18 unanswered points. DeMarvion Overshown’s late interception finished any remaining comeback hopes. Missing Hurts, DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks explains some offensive struggles, but it doesn’t excuse the defensive disaster. Philadelphia now sits 2-5, riding its longest losing streak since 2016.
