Lamar Jackson’s Return Lasts One Play as Buffalo Dominates Baltimore

The Buffalo Bills (6-1) overwhelmed the Baltimore Ravens (4-4) 36-10 at Highmark Stadium on November 1, 2026, as Josh Allen accounted for three touchdowns and Buffalo’s defense dominated a Ravens offense forced to use three quarterbacks after injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley.

What was supposed to be a showdown between two former MVP quarterbacks quickly turned into a nightmare for Baltimore. Josh Allen opened with a one-yard rushing touchdown, while Lamar Jackson injured his throwing thumb on the Ravens’ first offensive play after returning from a three-game absence. Buffalo wasn’t particularly sharp before halftime, with Allen throwing an interception and DJ Moore losing a fumble, but Tyler Bass connected on three field goals to build a 16-7 advantage. The Bills took control after halftime as James Cook scored on a five-yard run before Allen found Moore and Dalton Kincaid for fourth-quarter touchdowns. Allen finished with 289 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and another score on the ground. Kincaid contributed 86 receiving yards, Moore added 82, and Buffalo outgained Baltimore 426-144 while controlling possession for more than 37 minutes.

Baltimore’s afternoon went from unfortunate to disastrous when backup Tyler Huntley suffered a toe injury in the second quarter, forcing undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano into his NFL debut. Fagnano completed 10 of 21 passes for 91 yards and an interception, while Derrick Henry managed 53 rushing yards and the Ravens’ only touchdown. The offensive line struggled to protect its emergency quarterback, allowing four sacks, including one each from Greg Rousseau, Landon Jackson, Cole Bishop and TJ Parker. Davison Igbinosun intercepted Fagnano, and Buffalo recovered two fumbles. Baltimore’s defense deserves some credit for keeping the game close early, particularly with Broderick Washington Jr.’s interception, but it eventually wore down under constant pressure. The Ravens converted just three of 13 third downs, gained only 10 first downs and fell to 4-4 with their third consecutive loss. Losing two quarterbacks explains plenty, but allowing Buffalo to score 36 points made an already miserable afternoon even worse.
