Nigerian authorities have confirmed that Anthony Joshua was involved in a car crash on the Ogun–Lagos state expressway.
According to local media reports, two individuals tragically lost their lives in the accident. Police officials stated that Joshua sustained only minor injuries and is “fine.”

The incident comes just days after Joshua’s knockout victory over Jake Paul, a bout that introduced him to a new American audience and reignited momentum around the former heavyweight champion’s career.
At this time, the identities of the two individuals who did not survive have not been released. However, multiple posts on Twitter are suggesting that the two individuals are a part of Joshua training team. Authorities have also not clarified Joshua’s role in the crash. However, based on available photos circulating online, Joshua appears to have been a passenger in the vehicle.

They were seated in the front of the Lexus at the time of the crash, while Joshua was in the back seat.
