The New York Giants closed out their preseason in style, taking down the New England Patriots 42–10 in a game that showed depth, discipline, and plenty of promise heading into the regular season. With the win, the Giants finish the preseason a perfect 3–0, a much-needed spark for a team looking to bounce back from last year’s struggles.

Jaxson Dart Delivers Again
Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart made the most of his opportunity. On the opening drive, he rolled out and fired a 50-yard strike to Gunner Olszewski, electrifying the crowd. Dart later capped the night with a touchdown pass to Greg Dulcich, finishing 6-of-12 for 81 yards and a score, plus 23 rushing yards.
Across the preseason, Dart completed 68.1% of his passes for 372 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions, a stat line that not only speaks to his composure but also gives fans plenty to be excited about.
Depth Players Step Up
With many starters resting, it was the depth players’ turn to shine. Linebacker Abdul Carter and running back Art Green made strong impressions, while others like Beaux Collins had tougher moments with key drops. The defense, meanwhile, put its stamp on the game, holding New England to just 191 total yards and forcing a turnover.
Hope on the Horizon
After a disappointing 3–14 season in 2024, the Giants needed a fresh start, and this preseason gave them just that. The energy, execution, and undefeated record point to a team that’s buying in and finding its rhythm.
The regular season will tell the real story, but for now, Giants fans have reason to believe this team is turning a corner, and that their rookie quarterback might just be the spark they’ve been waiting for.
