C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans (2-4) stunned the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2) with a 34-31 victory at Wembley Stadium in London on October 18, 2026, as Ka’imi Fairbairn’s 49-yard field goal at the final whistle secured Houston’s second straight win.

A week after Jacksonville escaped London with a last-second victory, Houston returned the favor in a wild AFC South showdown at Wembley. C.J. Stroud opened the scoring with a touchdown to Foster Moreau, who later added a spectacular one-handed grab for his first career two-touchdown game. Stroud threw for 312 yards and three scores, connecting with Jaylin Noel for another touchdown as Houston built a 24-14 lead. Noel delivered a career-best 107 receiving yards, Nico Collins added 74, and newly acquired Marvin Harrison Jr. caught three passes for 34 yards in his Texans debut, reuniting with his former Ohio State quarterback. Jawhar Jordan’s 25-yard touchdown run stretched Houston’s advantage to 31-21, but Jacksonville refused to disappear. After Travis Hunter intercepted Stroud in the end zone, Cam Little drilled a 60-yard field goal to tie the game with 1:55 remaining. Stroud answered with one final drive, setting up Ka’imi Fairbairn’s 49-yard winner as time expired.
Trevor Lawrence delivered four touchdown passes and 306 yards, but Jacksonville’s defensive breakdowns spoiled another productive offensive afternoon. Bhayshul Tuten caught two touchdowns, Hunter contributed 59 receiving yards and a score, while Jakobi Meyers led the Jaguars with 83 receiving yards. Hunter’s interception also ended Stroud’s remarkable streak of 209 consecutive pass attempts without a pick to begin the season. Jacksonville outgained Houston in first downs and converted 58.3% of its third downs, but surrendered 426 yards without recording a sack. The Jaguars also lost a potential Tuten rushing touchdown to a controversial holding penalty before Calen Bullock intercepted Lawrence in the end zone. Houston’s defense wasn’t flawless either, especially with Jalen Pitre absent and Reed Blankenship suffering an injury, but the Texans finally found the late-game execution that had escaped them during their 0-4 start. Jacksonville’s second straight London thriller ended much differently than the first.
