Lamar Injury, Tate Erupts, but Ravens Survive Titans’ Late Push, 24-18

The Baltimore Ravens built a 17-point halftime lead and held off a late Tennessee rally to beat the Titans 24-18 on October 4, 2026, at M&T Bank Stadium, leaning on a sharp first half from Lamar Jackson and timely defensive plays down the stretch.

Baltimore spent the first half looking like it might run Tennessee out of the building. Derrick Henry scored against his former team on the opening drive, then Lamar Jackson carved the Titans up for 222 yards and two touchdowns on just 20 attempts, feeding Zay Flowers for 118 yards and a score while Mark Andrews added another touchdown. Then came the curveball: Jackson left at halftime with an ankle injury after helping build a 24-7 lead. Tyler Huntley went 8-of-9 for 63 yards in relief, but Baltimore never scored again. Luckily for the Ravens, rookie kicker Tyler Loop had already dropped a 64-yard bomb before halftime, which is the longest field goal ever made at M&T Bank Stadium and the second-longest in franchise history.

Tennessee finally found something worth building on, and his name was Carnell Tate. The No. 4 overall pick exploded for nine catches and 145 yards, giving Cam Ward the downfield threat this offense has been missing. Ward also posted his first 200-yard passing game of the season with 222 yards, but the questions aren’t gone. He threw an interception on his second pass on the first drive of the game, Tennessee turned it over twice, and most of the comeback came after Baltimore had already lost Jackson. Ward did lead a late touchdown drive and two-point conversion to cut it to 24-18 with 1:12 left, but Malaki Starks secured the onside kick and ended it. Trenton Simpson’s early interception and Baltimore’s first-half defense gave the Ravens enough cushion to survive, while Tennessee fell to 0-4 for the second straight season.
