The Minnesota Lynx defeated the Seattle Storm 86-76 behind strong performances from Napheesa Collier and Kayla McBride.
Collier led Minnesota with 24 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 9-for-20 from the field and making all four of her free throws. McBride added 20 points, three rebounds and three steals, while connecting on three shots from beyond the arc.
Olivia Miles contributed 13 points and six assists, and Natasha Howard added 11 points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block. Maya Caldwell provided eight points and six rebounds off the bench.
Seattle was led by Dominique Malonga, who finished with 21 points, nine rebounds and four blocks on 9-for-13 shooting. Flau’jae Johnson added 16 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals, while Natisha Hiedeman scored 12 points.
Awa Fam posted 10 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks, but the Storm struggled with turnovers and inconsistent perimeter shooting. Minnesota’s balanced scoring and defensive pressure helped the Lynx secure the 10-point victory.
