Paige Bueckers Leads Wings Past Sparks, 90-82

The Dallas Wings defeated the Los Angeles Sparks 90-82 behind a strong scoring performance from Paige Bueckers and balanced production across the lineup.

Bueckers led Dallas with 25 points, five assists and four rebounds, shooting 10-for-18 from the field and making both of her three-point attempts. Arike Ogunbowale added 20 points, while Jessica Shepard recorded 11 points, 14 rebounds and six assists.

Azzi Fudd contributed 11 points, four rebounds and three steals, and Odyssey Sims gave the Wings seven points and six assists off the bench. Li Yueru added four points, four rebounds and two blocks.

Los Angeles was led by Nneka Ogwumike, who finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal. Dearica Hamby added 16 points and five rebounds, while Cameron Brink contributed 10 points, six rebounds and three blocks.

Erica Wheeler directed the Sparks’ offense with 10 assists to go with nine points, while Ariel Atkins and Rae Burrell each scored nine.

The Sparks stayed competitive behind their frontcourt production, but Dallas had more scoring balance and stronger late-game execution. Bueckers and Ogunbowale combined for 45 points as the Wings secured the eight-point victory.
