Erik Schrader, Vice President and General Manager of WANF and WPCH, expressed his excitement about the channel’s launch: “As a lifelong sports fan, I know firsthand that many of us fell in love with sports by watching our local teams on broadcast television. While existing fans may already follow their teams through paid subscriptions, there’s no denying that new sports enthusiasts are born watching games on broadcast stations. Georgia boasts an impressive array of teams that deserve a broader audience, and countless sports fans simply need a station where they can tune in to live events. We’re thrilled to be pioneers in what will undoubtedly become a cherished sports tradition across our great state.”

Peachtree Sports Network plans to bring live game action from an eclectic mix of sports, including the College Park Skyhawks of the NBA G-League, high school football through Score Atlanta, hockey showdowns featuring the Atlanta Gladiators and the Savannah Ghost Pirates of the ECHL, the high-speed action of the Georgia Swarm from the National Lacrosse League, and ultimate disc battles from the Atlanta Hustle of the American Ultimate Disc League.

The Savannah Ghost Pirates stormed into the ECHL last season, setting a record for season tickets in ECHL history and selling out 30 of 33 home games. As affiliates of the Stanley Cup Champions, the Vegas Golden Knights, they are gearing up for another thrilling season at the Enmarket Arena.”
