Las Vegas turned Miami’s afternoon into a long, uncomfortable grind, riding relentless pressure and Ashton Jeanty’s all-around impact to a 27-13 win. The Raiders jumped ahead 7-0 on Kirk Cousins’ 15-yard touchdown pass to Jack Bech, then stretched the lead to 17-6 by halftime when Cousins found Jeanty for his first of two receiving touchdowns. Miami briefly threatened after Malik Willis’ 14-yard touchdown run cut the deficit to 17-13 early in the third, but Las Vegas answered immediately. Cousins went right back to Jeanty for another 13-yard score, restoring control before Matt Gay pushed the margin to two touchdowns. Jeanty finished with 102 rushing yards on 23 carries and added six catches for 45 yards and two touchdowns, giving Miami problems everywhere he lined up.
The Raiders’ defense did the rest. Las Vegas sacked Willis five times while Cousins was never taken down, and Miami managed just 13 first downs while converting 2 of 10 third downs. Kwity Paye led the charge with two sacks, Maxx Crosby added 1.5, and Treydan Stukes intercepted Willis. Cousins was far from flawless, throwing two interceptions, but his three touchdown passes outweighed the mistakes. Willis finished 15 of 27 for 220 yards with no passing touchdowns, while De’Von Achane was held to 36 rushing yards. Las Vegas didn’t need fireworks all afternoon—its defense kept Miami trapped, and Jeanty made sure the Raiders cashed in.
