After a gritty win against the Indian fever on 5/30/23, the sun is now 4-1 ahead of their next match up with the Minnesota Lynx. Connecticut Sun’s Tiffany Hayes is coming of a game where she was fueled and set the tone from start to finish. From knocking down her three points shots to her shifty moves to the rim. In Post game she described her game as tenacious; she finished the game with 22pts, 5rebs. Bri Jones battled that second half and finished with 19pts and 11rebs. Alyssa Thomas was a monster on the glass finishing the game with 13pts and 17 rebs. The spark off the bench that night was DiJonai Carrington; with her energy, and she knocked down two threes, sun fans went crazy. Coach Stephanie White said in post-game she was proud of her group and the way they fought back against a tough team! The team dished out 22 assists and shot 40.3% from the field. The last matchup with the Lynx was August 14,2022 and the Sun took home the dub. The Sun will have to stay locked in as the Lynx are looking for their first win.
