Sparks defeat the Storm in 2nd Sold Out WNBA Canada Game!

The Los Angeles Sparks defeated the Seattle Storm in front of a sold-out crowd (16,655) in the WNBA Canada Game presented by Tangerine on Saturday night.

Dearica Hamby recorded 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting, nine rebounds and a team high five assists. In her Canadian homecoming, Kia Nurse knocked down three 3-pointers and dished out two assists.

Cameron Brink tallied 11 points, three rebounds and two blocked shots while fellow rookie Rickea Jackson scored 10 points and pulled in four rebounds in their Sparks pre-season debuts.

The Sparks take on the Phoenix Mercury in their next pre-season matchup on May 10 at Footprint Center.
