BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Southwestern Athletic Conference has officially announced that its annual Football Media Day will take place on Wednesday, July 15, beginning at 10:00 a.m. CST at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel.
The event will feature all 12 SWAC head football coaches, along with two student-athletes from each member institution, as they gather to preview and discuss the upcoming 2026 college football season. Media Day serves as a key moment on the conference calendar, offering insight into team expectations, offseason developments, and storylines to watch heading into the fall.
In addition to coach and player availability, the conference will unveil its official 2026 SWAC Football Predicted Order of Finish, providing an early look at how teams are projected to stack up within the league.
Media members will also have the opportunity to conduct one-on-one interviews with coaches and student-athletes beginning at 10:00 a.m. CST. A complete list of attending participants will be released at a later date.
As anticipation builds for the 2026 season, SWAC Football Media Day will once again set the stage for what promises to be another competitive year across one of the premier HBCU conferences in the nation.
