This evening so many dreams come true, The WNBA drafted 36 young talented women. Many came to slay and show the world who they are. Simple all black dresses, to bright two-piece suits, bling and smiles, these ladies looked gorgeous.

Aliyah Boston from South Carolina was drafted the number one overall pick and she is headed to Indian Fever. As she’s eager to work, she said “she will be dominant and confident”. Diamond Miller said, “when she steps on the court, she will be Dimond Miller’.She was drafted number two and she is headed to the Minnesota Lynx. “I’m competitive, a team player and with my length I’m ready to block lots of shots”, said Stephanie Soares who was drafted fourth and headed to the Washington Mystics.

The Draftees kept us laughing, seventh pick Grace Berger from Indiana said her dog Walnut was very upset that he didn’t make the trip, and to make up for it by getting him some Indiana Fever Gear. They are ready to hoop, 13th pick Taylor Mikesell said, “Be a sponge, find ways to get better”. Taylor is headed to Indiana Fever. They got them a squad. Connecticut Sun got them a balller in Alexis Morris and I asked her to describe this feeling in one word and she said remarkable. Jordan Horstson who is headed to Seattle said it didn’t settle in until after her name was called.
