649 Days Later, Sauce Wins on American Soil as Shrader Sinks Texans, 19-17

The Indianapolis Colts edged the Houston Texans 19-17 on September 27, 2026 at Lucas Oil Stadium, improving to 1-2 in a one-possession game decided by 2 points.

Indianapolis spent most of the afternoon making life harder on itself, then Spencer Shrader bailed the Colts out when it mattered most. Shrader drilled a 53-yard field goal with 16 seconds left to lift Indianapolis past Houston 19-17, capping a game in which the Colts somehow survived three turnovers.
