Sparks Announce 2024 Broadcast Schedule!  

Mary Murphy, Rahshaun Haylock and Nikki Kay Make Up the Broadcast Team 

LOS ANGELES –– The Los Angeles Sparks announced the broadcast schedule for the 2024 regular season. Returning to Spectrum SportsNet, the official TV home of the Sparks, for their 12th consecutive season, the team will kick off the season on May 15 at 7 p.m. against the Atlanta Dream. Spectrum SportsNet’s live game coverage includes 22 regular season games – 16 home games and six road games. The Sparks’ broadcast schedule also features 16 nationally televised games on major networks, including matchups on ESPN/ESPN2, ABC, CBS, CBS Sports Network, ION, and Prime Video. This schedule may be subject to change. 

2024 Broadcast Team 

Mary Murphy returns to the Sparks broadcast team for the 2024 season. Murphy previously called games for Spectrum SportsNet from 2014-2019 and has experience calling both college and WNBA games for ESPN, CBS, Big Ten Network, Westwood One and the Pac-12 Network. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Murphy attended Northwestern University, where she was a two-year captain on the women’s basketball team and later received her MBA from the University of Notre Dame. She coached college basketball for 16 years, including eight years as the head coach at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, Murphy was the first general manager and coach of the WNBA’s Sacramento Monarchs.  

Rahshaun Haylock is back for his fourth season with the Los Angeles Sparks as a play-by-play commentator. Haylock is also the sports reporter at KTLA and the voice of the South Bay Lakers. Prior to joining the Sparks, he served as a host and reporter at FOX Sports West/Prime Ticket, covering the CIF Southern Section Game of the Week and college basketball. Haylock graduated from California State University, Northridge and is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.   

Nikki Kay is joining the Los Angeles Sparks as the team’s sideline reporter for her second season. Previously, she served as the sideline reporter for the Los Angeles Galaxy for two seasons. Currently at Spectrum News 1, Kay is the sports reporter and has covered professional sports organizations and shared stories of athletes throughout Southern California for the past five years. A UCLA graduate and Southern California native, Kay grew up in Santa Barbara playing soccer, basketball, and volleyball.
