The Dallas Wings held off the Connecticut Sun for an 86-83 win behind a strong all-around performance from Paige Bueckers.
Bueckers led Dallas with 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, shooting 9-for-14 from the field. Jessica Shepard added 14 points and six rebounds, while Alanna Smith provided 11 points off the bench. Arike Ogunbowale chipped in nine points, all from three-point range.
Connecticut was led by Leila Lacan, who finished with 18 points, five assists and three steals. Charlisse Leger-Walker added 14 points, while Brittney Griner recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds. Olivia Nelson-Ododa also contributed 11 points and eight rebounds.
The Sun kept the game close behind balanced scoring, but Dallas made enough plays late to secure the three-point road victory.
