Paige Bueckers delivered a 32-point performance as the Dallas Wings defeated the Seattle Storm 92-70 Sunday night.
Dallas established control early, using more efficient shooting to take a 26-14 lead after the first quarter. That opening period gave the Wings the first clear separation, and Seattle never recovered.
The advantage continued to grow before halftime. Dallas carried a 56-35 lead into the break, with Bueckers providing the centerpiece of an efficient offensive performance.
The Wings remained in control through the second half, preventing Seattle from mounting the type of run needed to change the direction of the game. Dallas maintained its advantage through the final period and finished with a 22-point margin.
Bueckers led the way with 32 points, four rebounds and four assists. Jessica Shepard added 11 points, 11 rebounds and four assists, while Awak Kuier finished with nine points, seven rebounds and two assists.
Flau’jae Johnson paced Seattle with 23 points, six rebounds and two assists. Jade Melbourne added 15 points and four rebounds, but the Storm could not overcome Dallas’ shooting advantage.
Field-goal percentage was one of the clearest differences between the teams. Dallas shot 50.0% from the field compared with Seattle’s 34.0%, allowing the Wings to consistently turn possessions into better scoring opportunities.
Dallas also finished with an 11-assist advantage, another reflection of how effectively the Wings generated offense throughout the game.
The win improved Dallas to 22-16, while Seattle fell to 7-31.
