Baltimore Spent One Half Bullying Burrow and the Other Getting Buried

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals (4-2) stormed back from a 13-point halftime deficit to embarrass the Baltimore Ravens (4-3) 35-13 at M&T Bank Stadium on October 25, 2026, scoring 35 unanswered points to hand their AFC North rivals a second straight defeat.

Joe Burrow spent the first half getting pushed around by Baltimore’s defense as Cincinnati managed just 59 yards and trailed 13-0. Then the Bengals returned from halftime looking like an entirely different team. Burrow found Mike Gesicki for a six-yard touchdown before connecting with Tee Higgins for the go-ahead score. Samaje Perine added a one-yard rushing touchdown, and Burrow later found Ja’Marr Chase and Drew Sample to complete five consecutive touchdown drives. Burrow finished with 292 passing yards and four touchdowns, while Higgins went from zero first-half receptions to six catches for 148 yards and a score. Chase contributed 62 receiving yards as Cincinnati became just the 10th team in NFL history to score at least 35 second-half points after being shut out before halftime.

Baltimore’s collapse was particularly embarrassing considering how completely it controlled the opening half. With Lamar Jackson sidelined by an ankle injury, Tyler Huntley opened with a 48-yard touchdown to Zay Flowers and helped produce two lengthy drives that ended in field goals. Huntley finished with 298 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception, while Flowers caught eight passes for 137 yards. Derrick Henry managed just 45 rushing yards, and Baltimore’s offense disappeared after halftime. Cincinnati’s Boye Mafe led a four-sack defensive effort, rookie Cashius Howell recorded his first career sack, and Demetrius Knight Jr.‘s interception helped finish the rout. Despite possessing the ball for 35 minutes and outgaining Cincinnati 359-357, Baltimore couldn’t score again. The Ravens’ defense also fell apart after halftime, allowing five straight touchdowns. Losing starting guard Vega Ioane to a knee injury complicated matters, but it hardly explains how a 13-point lead became a 22-point defeat.
