Johnson paced the Storm with 28 points, nine rebounds, three steals, and one block while knocking down four three-pointers. Rookie center Dominique Malonga continued her strong play with 20 points and 10 rebounds, recording a double-double on an efficient 9-of-12 shooting performance. Jade Melbourne added 18 points and seven assists, while Awa Fam contributed 15 points and six rebounds as Seattle placed four players in double figures.
Seattle’s offense stayed in rhythm throughout the game, combining efficient shooting with unselfish ball movement to build and maintain its advantage. The Storm capitalized on timely scoring runs and controlled the paint, preventing New York from finding consistent momentum.
The Liberty were led by Jonquel Jones, who scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds, connecting on three shots from beyond the arc. Leonie Fiebich added 19 points, while Sabrina Ionescu finished with 14 points and five assists. Raquel Carrera chipped in seven points and five rebounds off the bench, but New York struggled to contain Seattle’s balanced attack.
