The Chicago Sky delivered one of their most explosive offensive performances of the season Friday night, rolling to a 124-94 victory over the Portland Fire.
Kamilla Cardoso was nearly unstoppable, finishing with 30 points on a perfect 13-for-13 shooting night while adding eight rebounds. Sydney Taylor caught fire from beyond the arc, scoring 29 points after connecting on six three-pointersand converting all seven of her free-throw attempts.
The Sky showcased outstanding ball movement throughout the game. Azura Stevens added 12 points, six rebounds, and six assists, while Skylar Diggins recorded 10 points and nine assists. Courtney Vandersloot chipped in 10 points and seven assists, helping Chicago’s offense operate at a high level from start to finish.
Portland was led by Bridget Carleton, who scored 20 points, while Carla Leite added 18 points and four assists. Megan Gustafson contributed 13 points, but the Fire were unable to slow Chicago’s relentless offensive attack.
Chicago built its lead early and never looked back, combining efficient shooting with balanced scoring across the lineup. The Sky finished with six players scoring in double figures and controlled the game on both ends to earn a convincing 124-94 victory.
