Kayla McBride, Olivia Miles Lift Lynx Past Storm, 105-102

The Minnesota Lynx held off the Seattle Storm for a 105-102 victory behind outstanding performances from Kayla McBride and Olivia Miles.

McBride scored 33 points, connecting on six three-pointers and making all nine of her free-throw attempts. Miles added 32 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, giving Minnesota another dynamic offensive performance.

Courtney Williams contributed 21 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Natasha Howard controlled the glass with 12 rebounds and added three steals.

Seattle was led by Flau’jae Johnson, who scored 26 points while making five three-pointers. Zia Cooke added 18 points, Dominique Malonga finished with 14 points and nine rebounds, Natisha Hiedeman recorded 12 points and 10 assists, and Awa Fam grabbed 11 rebounds.

The Storm shot well throughout the game, but Minnesota capitalized at the free-throw line, making 21 of 22 attempts, and forced 15 turnovers. McBride and Miles combined for 65 points to help the Lynx earn the three-point victory.
