The Professional Fighters League returns to Southern California tonight as PFL San Diego Presented by GOVX takes over Pechanga Arena San Diego, featuring a stacked lineup headlined by one of the organization’s biggest featherweight matchups of the year.
The action begins with the preliminary card at 8 p.m. ET on the ESPN App, before the main card airs live on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes at 10 p.m. ET.
The official weigh-ins concluded Friday with all featured bouts made official.
AJ McKee Returns in Main Event
Long Beach native and former Bellator champion AJ “Mercenary” McKee (24-2) will look to defend his No. 2 featherweight ranking when he faces undefeated No. 4 contender Salamat Isbulaev (10-0) in tonight’s main event.
Both fighters successfully made weight, with McKee weighing 145.6 pounds and Isbulaev coming in at 145.8 pounds, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated featherweight bouts on the PFL calendar.
McKee enters the fight looking to continue his climb toward another championship opportunity, while Isbulaev puts his perfect professional record on the line in what could be the biggest victory of his career.
Carmouche Headlines Women’s Flyweight Showcase
The co-main event features a battle between two of the division’s top contenders as No. 2 Liz “Girl-Rilla” Carmouche (25-8) squares off against No. 8 Viviane “Vivi” Araujo (14-7).
Carmouche officially weighed 126 pounds, while Araujo came in at 125.8 pounds, making the women’s flyweight matchup official.

The ESPN2 main card also includes two additional ranked contests:
- Lightweight: No. 4 Alexander Shabliy vs. No. 2 Alfie Davis
- Light Heavyweight: Abraham Bably vs. No. 6 Rob Wilkinson

- No. 7 Ariane Lipski vs. No. 5 Jena Bishop (Women’s Flyweight)
- Justin Wetzell vs. No. 8 Sarvarjon Khamidov (Catchweight)
- Shannon Clark vs. Ilara Joanne (Women’s Flyweight)
- Cobey Fehr vs. Daniel Bzdigian (Bantamweight)
The only weight miss of the event came in the catchweight bout, where Khamidov weighed 137.6 pounds.
