Jacksonville turned a slow start into a full-on avalanche, scoring 35 points over the final three quarters and never giving New England a way back in. Trevor Lawrence completed 19 of 29 passes for 182 yards and three touchdowns, spreading the damage around to Josh Cameron, Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington. Meyers led the Jaguars with seven catches for 64 yards and a score, while Bhayshul Tuten added 73 rushing yards and a touchdown. Chris Rodriguez Jr. also punched one in, helping Jacksonville build a 28-3 lead before the Patriots could even think about mounting a comeback.
New England actually finished with two more total yards than Jacksonville, but the scoreboard told a completely different story. Drake Maye threw for 199 yards with two interceptions, and the Patriots turned the ball over three times while converting only 4 of 12 third downs. Travis Hunter came away with one of those picks, Jarrian Jones grabbed the other, and Jacksonville’s defense kept New England out of the end zone all afternoon. Mack Hollins was the Patriots’ brightest spot with six catches for 87 yards, but the offense never found any rhythm near the goal line. Jacksonville didn’t need to dominate the stat sheet — it dominated the moments that decided the game.
